‘South Park’ Construction Sets First Look!
No need to go all the way down to South Park to have yourself a time — just head to your nearest specialty toy store. The long-running Comedy Central cartoon series, currently entering its second decade on the air, is partnering with toy world giant McFarlane Toys for a new line of South Park-themed construction sets, and Yahoo TV has the first look. Available in August 2017, these sets re-create scenes from both the TV show — like Mr. Garrison’s classroom — and the upcoming video game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, which sees the long-awaited return of South Park’s finest superhero squad: Coon and Friends.
Like the popular construction sets that McFarlane Toys has designed for AMC’s The Walking Dead and HBO’s Game of Thrones, the South Park line has been carefully crafted down to the geekiest detail. All of your favorite characters are present and accounted for as portable figures, and the sets themselves are built with plastic pieces that are compatible with other McFarlane brand lines. In other words, here’s your chance to construct the Game of Thrones/South Park crossover the world’s been waiting for. How do you say, “Respect my authoritah” in High Valyrian?
The South Park Construction Sets from McFarlane Toys will be available in August 2017. Prices ranges from $7.99 to $34.99.
