‘The Walking Dead’ Exclusive Preview: ‘I’m Not Saving You Anymore’

We learned in last week’s episode that Enid had finally made it out of that closet Carl locked her in during The Walking Dead Season 6 finale. But her time as a resident of Alexandria may be short-lived.

In an exclusive preview of Sunday’s “Go Getters,” the fifth episode of Season 7, Carl confronts Enid as she’s climbing over the Alexandria wall. She’s off to see Maggie at the Hilltop, by herself, which Carl thinks is a foolish move.

“I’ll be fine,” Enid tells him. “I have better aim than you.” Ouch … harsh comeback for the one-eyed Carl, who, unbeknownst to Enid, was just practicing his aim on a dartboard and not performing so well. Enid apologizes and says she didn’t mean to be mean, but Carl tells her he’s done protecting her.

But, given that he’s a Grimes man, that’s probably a pretty hollow threat, right?

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
