Trevor Noah Calls Out the Blaze for Suspension of Pro-Choice Conservative Tomi Lahren
On The Daily Show Tuesday, Trevor Noah reacted to Tomi Lahren’s suspension from the conservative website the Blaze. Last week, Lahren appeared on ABC’s The View and shared her pro-choice view. She said, “I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.”
Noah commented, “Honestly, this is not cool. If you’re a conservative network that preaches day in and day out, ‘You politically correct snowflakes get offended too easily when anyone says something you disagree with.’ Then Tomi Lahren speaks her truth, and her bosses go, ‘Oh, you like choices? Well, how about you choose a new job?'”
Lahren visited The Daily Show in December and clashed with Noah over Colin Kaepernick’s protest, in which he kneeled during the national anthem.
Trevor Noah finished his remarks by saying: “I was offended by the hypocrisy. I was so offended that I wanted to protest it. Unfortunately, there is no type of black people protest that Tomi is comfortable with.”
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central.
