Your TV To-Do List: Oprah’s ‘Immortal’ Project, ‘Fargo’ Season 3, and More
With so much to watch on TV it can be difficult to plan ahead. But we’re here to help! Here are the five shows you won’t want to miss this week.
Better Call Saul: Monday, April 17, at 10 p.m. on AMC
The Easter Eggs and cryptic messages left on car windows are behind us at last: tonight, Gustavo Fring appears on camera for the first time since Breaking Bad‘s fourth season finale. Is it too much to hope that we might see Hank Schrader making an after-hours Pollos Hermanos takeout run before Season 3 wraps up?
Fargo: Wednesday, April 19, at 10 p.m. on FX
The third year of the Coen Brothers-derived anthology series stars Jim Gaffigan, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Carrie Coon, and a double dose of Ewan McGregor. Don’t worry, this isn’t an Attack of the Clones situation — he’s just playing a pair of very different brothers at the center of this season’s seriocomic mystery.
Girlboss: Friday, April 21, on Netflix
A rags-to-riches story for the eBay age, Girlboss is a fictionalized account of how upstart CEO Sophia Amoruso (Britt Robertson) went from reselling thrift store bargains online to running her own fashion label.
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks: Saturday, April 22, at 8 p.m. on HBO
Rebecca Skloot’s nonfiction bestseller about an African-American woman whose cancer cells spawned groundbreaking medical research gets the prestige HBO treatment with an A-list cast — led by a woman named Oprah Winfrey.
Feud: Sunday, April 23, at 10 p.m. on FX
Time to play the Feud one last time as the clash between acting titans Joan Crawford and Bette Davis reaches its endgame.
