‘The Voice’ Duets Do Not Disappoint
The remaining eight contestants on The Voice teamed up for a night of duets Monday. While everyone had a solo performance, the duets were the highlights of the night. Chris Blue and Vanessa Ferguson started off the duets by singing “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys. And the Voice coach had “Fallin'” in love with their performance.
Aliyah Moulden and Hunter Plake got together and slowed things down with “Let It Go” by James Bay, not the song from Frozen … although that would have been awesome too. TSoul and Jesse Larson were up next, and they brought the party with their performance of Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish.” The song was so much fun it made everyone wish for these goateed guys to sing together more often. The final duet of the night was from country crooners Lauren Duski and Brennley Brown. The young ladies took on the country classic “Good Hearted Woman” by Waylon Jennings.
It was a fun night of collaboration before the remaining eight contestants get cut in half during Tuesday’s dramatic elimination show.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Voice for free on Yahoo View.
