Will Johnny Depp Take Over Alec Baldwin's Trump?
Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he would be open to taking over Alec Baldwin’s role as Saturday Night Live’s de facto President Trump.
Depp showcased his Trump impression by saying, “Nobody can be more presidential. It’s fabulous.” He is no stranger to a Trump impression as he starred in Funny or Die’s film Donald Trump’s the Art of the Deal: The Movie.
Though Alec Baldwin’s impression has received great reviews, the actor has told Extra and other outlets that he may not play Trump for the entirety of his presidential term.
The move would not be difficult, as Johnny Depp told DeGeneres, “Basically, Alec’s done all the work, I can just copy him.”
