Younger Season 4 'First Look': Liza Finally Comes Clean to Kelsey
Liza ended Younger‘s third season with a doozy of a bombshell for clueless BFF Kelsey. And by the looks of things, Hilary Duff’s character still needs a minute to process what she’s learned.

TVLine has an exclusive photo from the TV Land comedy’s Season 4 premiere table read, which features Duff and Sutton Foster locked in a heated exchange. … Well, Duff looks heated. Foster just looks like she’s standing there and taking whatever’s being thrown her way, no doubt feeling guilty about lying to someone she now considers a best friend.

Of course, it’s understandable that there’s going to be more friction between Liza and Kelsey this season. Series creator Darren Star reminded TVLine back in December that “the longer the lie continues, the harder it becomes to resolve,” likening Liza to (a better-intentioned) Bernie Madoff.

“It was her way of trying to redeem herself a little bit,” Star said of Liza coming clean to Kelsey about her real age. (And, yes, my headline is a reference to Hilary Duff’s 2003 hit single “Come Clean.” Thanks for asking.)
